Dr. Lucia Gambino received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Adelphi University. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the Long Island Doctor of Audiology Consortium, which comprises Hofstra University, Adelphi University and St. John’s University. She has clinical experience working in medical, private practice and corporate settings.
Dr. Gambino discovered her passion for audiology while on a medical mission trip in Ecuador. During that trip she observed an ENT and learned the importance of speaking another language. Dr. Gambino is fluent in Italian and has provided interpretation services to a vast number of patients during her work in Queens.
Dr. Gambino is passionate about patient centered care, the latest hearing aid technology and advocating for the hard of hearing/Deaf community. Dr. Gambino is empathetic, an excellent communicator, and dedicated to supporting all her patients during their hearing journey. Her clinical interests include adult diagnostics and amplification, aural-rehabilitation, and hearing conservation.
Dr. Gambino holds certification through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. She is also licensed in the State of New York as a clinical and dispensing audiologist. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
